    Mitigating the impacts of road widening related to 224 since Park City can’t stop it, including wildlife collisions

    Granting taxpayers reservation priority, additional offerings, and reduced fees for our recreation offerings, such as day camp registration and golf tee times

    Implemented the “Transit to Trails” program, granting year-round access to Bonanza Flat for Nordic skiing

    Trailhead management program and enforcement to reduce neighborhood impacts

    As deferred maintenance issues, pursued funding for the MARC pool complex and City Park Community Center instead of bundling with the failed 2023 GO Bond

    Evolved our water rate structure to be more fair and consistent, implementing conservation pricing for all rate classes

    Water conservation pricing has shifted away from a model where high usage penalties were applied regardless of water need, ~90% of customers will see a reduced bill

    Advancing methods to safeguard our water supply and prepare for our community’s long-term demands

    Sustainability practices have been updated to reflect technological advances and impact analysis

  • Fiscal Responsibility & Governance

    Cultural mindset of “play by the rules or change the rules”, eliminating special treatment behind closed doors

    New internal audit function to ensure project and activity compliance with Council direction and City Policies

    Advocating for equitable regional treatment in how tax dollars are collected and spent across jurisdictions

    No city-specific property tax increases; tax reductions from paid off GO Bonds

    Leveraged public-private partnerships to reduce project costs and improve quality/timeliness; getting more for less
